How to give an agency access to Google Search Console

Two situations, one page. If you don't have your Google Search Console account yet, create it first and it stays yours. If you already have it, jump straight to inviting your agency. Pick your situation below.

You keep ownership. You're the verified owner. We're added as users, so we can see everything and fix issues, but can't remove you.

Search Console is how Google talks to you about your website: what you rank for, what's broken. Free, and it only needs setting up once.

  1. Add a property

    ↗ search.google.com/search-console
Sign in with your business Google account and click Add property.

  2. Choose “URL prefix” and enter your site

Type your full website address including https://. (“Domain” is the fancier option but needs DNS records, so URL prefix is fine.)

  3. Verify

If Google Analytics or Tag Manager is already on your site with the same Google account, verification is automatic, just one click. If not, tell us and we'll handle it.
